Gary, together with Sal Barbera recently won the “Road to Memphis” blues competition sponsored by the Dayton Blues Society and advanced to the “International Blues Challenge”.

The duo was a featured act at the “2011 Winter Blues Showcase” and represented the Dayton Blues Society in the IBC.

The International Blues Challenge is the world's largest gathering of Blues acts selected through an international search by “The Blues Foundation” and its Affiliated Organizations.
After three days of intense competition on Beal Street, Gary and Sal had the honor of advancing to the semi finals.
